Castril Visitors Centre and Museum
Castril Visitors Centre offers information around the local area. Unfortunately, it is mainly in Spanish - hence the opening of our information centre to work alongside the Visitors Centre. As a native English speaker we can offer much needed information in English.
The Museum
is actually within the Tourist Information Centre but is worth a visit. There are three floors in the TIC. The bottom and top floor has a section where children can press buttons to learn more about the birds and other animals in the area. There are also old agricultural items, clothing and items of historical interest. The ground floor is the TIC and there is also a section where you can sit and listen to a 15 minute video on Castril (Spanish only).
It is free of charge and will probably only take 1/2 hr to look at the majority of things but if you are in the area, it is worth a visit.
