We walked around the expedition which was a lot of pictures up on the walls and a few objects that were recovered from the Titantic including, the only plate recovered without being broken.  Each piece had a number and we walked around with a walkman around our neck (in Spanish only) and there was information about each picture or object.  There were only 6 Spanish people aboard the Titanic when it sank.  Two were in first class and they survived….

After the expedition we went outside to have a look around.  There were lots of things to do in the park, including other parks, interactive objects and other places with expeditions.

My favourite part was going in a glass elevator up to the look out 700m above ground, and as we walked down, it shows records of the tallest trees, animals and the longest as well.  We all wanted to go to the Butterfly farm but we ran out of time!

If you like to have some fun and learn at the same time (and endure aching feet) you should go….it was a great day out.

After the Science Park we went to the “Parque de Federico Garcia Lorca” in Granada. Garcia Lorca was a famous poet, musician and painter who was murdered by nationalists at the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War at the age of 37 in 1936.  He opened these beautiful gardens. It was full of sweet smelling roses and tulips and a few fountains and seats.  There is also a museum, although it was closed.
